• HORI-HORI Lanbide Sozietate Anonimoa/Sociedad Anónima Laboral is a workers’ co-operative that was founded in Bilbao in April 1991 to work in a wide range of areas concerned with the development and all-round promotion of the Basque language.

• In all its areas of action, HORI-HORI S.A.L. strives to bring new technologies and the multi-purpose space for professional interaction now provided by the Internet into the world of cultural services.

• The company has a permanent work-force of 20 (11 of them holders of Master’s Diplomas in Translation from the University of the Basque Country or the University of Deusto). Since its inception in 1991, HORI-HORI’s policy has been to handle work in-house, though the company can also call on other highly qualified experts in a range of different fields.

• In April 2002 HORI-HORI S.A.L. obtained an ISO-9001/2000 quality certificate, accredited by Bureau Veritas Quality International. In June 2005, it was awarded its three-year recertification.
