RE-EDITION OF ‘PLANETA XXI ENTZIKLOPEDIA BERRIA’  2006-01-01 • HORI-HORI S.A.L. is commissioned by the publisher Planeta-Agostini to re-edit the encyclopaedia "PLANETA XXI ENTZIKLOPEDIA BERRIA JAKINTZA ARLOKA", fully translated into Basque by the company in June 2003.

NEW HORI-HORI OFFICE IN VITORIA-GASTEIZ  2005-12-05 • HORI-HORI S.A.L. inaugurates its new office in Vitoria-Gasteiz, dedicated to comprehensive services in Basque, focusing especially on translation and the arrangement of Basque language schemes.

“EUSKARA MERKATARITZARA”  2005-11-30 • The Local Authority in Getxo awards HORI-HORI S.A.L. the provision of services for the promotion and monitoring of the “Euskara merkataritzara” programme, within the framework of the agreement on the dissemination of the Basque language in Getxo.

EUSTAT AND HORI-HORI  2005-03-21 • HORI-HORI subscribes the contract on the Basque-Spanish-Basque Translation Service for EUSTAT, the Basque Institute of Statistics.

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS AND HORI-HORI  2005-01-14 • In 2005, the company has secured several contracts with the Government of Navarre (texts to be translated in the Official Gazette of Navarre), Department of Culture of the Regional Council of Bizkaia (administrative texts, regional budgets, etc.), Interior Department of the Basque Government and Basque Institute of the Public Administration (texts of all kinds, Administration, Internet, etc.).

MEÑAKA LOCAL AUTHORITY  2005-01-10 • The Local Authority of Meñaka commissions HORI-HORI S.A.L. with the general review and standardisation of place-names within the municipality. The company proceeds to draw up the map of place-names for this municipality.

ALKARBIDE FORUM  2005-01-05 • HORI-HORI S.A.L. currently manages the ALKARBIDE forum, a co-ordinating body for Basque language services available in Bizkaia. It also designs and manages the content of the Forum’s website and regularly sees to the publication of AGERKARIA, posted on ALKARBIDE’s website.

REGIONAL COUNCIL OF ALAVA  2004-05-12 • HORI-HORI subscribes a contract with the Regional Council of Alava for performing the translation of its administrative texts into and from the Basque language in 2004 and 2005.

GENERAL TREASURY OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY  2004-04-01 • HORI-HORI S.A.L. subscribes a contract on the Translation Service, Text Processing and Document Design in Corel Draw with the General Treasury of the Social Security of the Ministry of Work and Social Affairs for 2004. The contact was extended for 2005.

BAKIO TOWN COUNCIL AND HORI-HORI  2004-01-01 • Bakio Town Council has asked HORI-HORI S.A.L. to undertake a general review and adaptation of place names in the municipality. The company is now drawing up the relevant map of place names.

BASQUE INTERPRETATION CENTRE  2003-12-00 • In 2004, HORI-HORI S.A.L. handed over the exhibition and documentation centres known as "EUSKARAREN INTERPRETAZIO ZENTROA" (“Basque Interpretation Centre”) and "MEDIATEGIA: EUSKARAREN MULTIMEDIA GORDAILUA" (“Basque Multimedia Deposit”), based in the San Ignacio district of Bilbao.

CULTURAL FAIR 2003  2003-10-18 • As part of the "Kulturen Azoka - Feria de las Culturas" cultural fair, HORI-HORI organised an exhibition in October 2003 in co-operation with Elea S.L. under the title "Euskera y Emigración" [“Basque and Emigration”].

BILBAO BIZKAIA WATER BOARD  2003-10-01 • In October 2003 HORI-HORI Lanbide Sozietate Anonimoa/Sociedad Anónima Laboral undertook a preliminary study for a plan to foster the Basque language at (the local water board).

MONOGRAPHS OF PLENTZIA AND SANTURTZI INTO THE VIZCAÍNO BASQUE  2003-10-00 • In October 2003, the company delivered to the Dept. of Culture of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia a translation into the Vizcaíno Basque dialect of historical and artistic monographs on the towns of Plentzia and Santurtzi. HORI-HORI has also translated monographs on a further 26 municipalities in Bizkaia (including Amorebieta, Barakaldo, Basauri, Bermeo, Ermua, Galdames, Igorre, Markina-Xemein, Muskiz, Ortuella, Errigoiti, Trapagaran, Zaldibar, Zeanuri and Zeberio).

PLANETA ENTZIKLOPEDIA BERRIA JAKINTZA ARLOKA  2003-06-25 • In June 2003 HORI-HORI Lanbide Sozietate Anonimoa/Sociedad Anónima Laboral delivered a complete translation of the new "PLANETA XXI ENTZIKLOPEDIA BERRIA JAKINTZA ARLOKA" to the publishing house PLANETA-DeAGOSTINI. The encyclopaedia comprises 11 volumes, 5 interactive CDs and a glossary. The company also handled the adaptation of texts for the CDs and the contents of many articles for the encyclopaedia.

THE ROUTE OF BASQUE  2003-05-00 • In May 2003 the company products a prospecting study for the Language Policy Office of the Basque Government entitled La Ruta del Euskera [“The Route of Basque”].

BASQUE LANGUAGE DAY - DVD  2003-02-00 • In February 2003 the company produced the DVD report on "Euskararen Eguna 2002", at the request of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

PROVINCIAL COUNCIL OF BIZKAIA AND HORI-HORI  2003-01-01 • In January 2003, HORI-HORI S.A.L. completed its technical assistance and implementation work for the campaign to promote enrolment in bilingual education for the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

BASQUE LANGUAGE DAY 2002  2002-12-03 • HORI-HORI created and managed in its entirety the exhibition staged at the corner of Calle Arbieto and Calle Diputación in Bilbao on 3rd December 2002 to mark EUSKERAREN EGUNA (“Basque Language Day”), in co-operation with Xarelan, S.L.
